The stove is GAS!! I don't know whether to scream or laugh. Actually I prefer cooking with gas because the food tends to taste better. The house is very new so there shouldn't be any safety issues-I will talk to the landlord about it.
The livingroom is going to need some TLC. The 3 piece shelving unit will work there--and possibly the Futon if we don't use that in the music room or the guest room or whatever. But we don't have a cohesive set for the livingroom-I like eccletic --but with some sort of theme. I guess if the livingroom is going to have like concert posters and video games etc--having a futon with a cover and a couple of chairs that don't match wouldn't matter too much. I want to put some large plants in there. I don't think I want the TV facing the street where people can see it. The previous owners have the TV on the right hand wall as you enter--facing the livingroom-but not smack dab in the livingroom. Not sure. Anyway-it will work out.
My Room
I think I want to put my red table in the smaller room and the metal shelving unit (if we don't need it somewhere else). The metal shelving unit would have all my wrapping papers, collected loose papers(magazine cut outs/flyers/stuff) and drawing materials, bookmaking materials, jewellry making.
Maybe my computer could go in the alcove upstairs and both Matt and I could use it--and Matt's could go in the music room? And another one downstairs for the movies?
Microwave
the extra microwave could go in the alcove by the computer so we can make popcorn for movies in bed? i dunno. i really think we only need one. but we could have the extra one somewhere...a tea caddy by the dining room table would be nice.
i want to get a centre piece for the diningroom table--just a little something for the middle of the table-my candle holders/salt and pepper shakers and a vase.
